W Churches & Son Ltd secures top accreditation
W Churches & Son Ltd in Winchester is proud to announce it has achieved accreditation status for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). Supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, industry and non-governmental groups, the MCS is helping to make a substantial contribution to cutting the UK's dependency on fossil fuels and carbon dioxide emissions.
One of only a very few companies in the region to successfully go through the rigorous accreditation process, this official recognition means that Churches can now advise its customers on a range of sustainable energy solutions, government grants and help with planning considerations.
Ian Paxton, Churches’ Operations Director says: “The UK has one of the most ambitious CO2 emission reduction targets in the world and our accreditation clearly demonstrates that Churches is at the forefront of helping to realise these targets. It also shows that we really do provide the very best sustainable energy solutions to our customers, whether domestic or commercial. In addition, we can use our experience and knowledge of the industry to show our customers how to access financial help through grants which can cover anything from 50 – 100 per cent of costs.”
Customers have already benefited from Churches’ commitment to keeping up with developments in a rapidly-changing industry with its accompanying demand for yet more sustainable energy solutions. The company’s professional approach demands that the market is researched thoroughly, in order to source and install systems which best meet customers’ needs, whether ground source heat pumps, biomass boilers, solar thermal or air source heat pumps or wind turbines. Future plans include solar and photo-voltaic solutions.
