Our engineers are highly qualified and regularly trained on most manufacturers’ equipment such as Powrmatic, Broag, Reznor, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Andrews and many other quality products.

This expertise enables our engineers to carry out repairs right down to component level – a service rarely found in third-party maintenance. All our mechanical engineers belong to one or more professional bodies; OFTEC, Gas Safe (formerly Corgi), HVCA,Trustmark, CHAS and Trading Standards (Buying with Confidence) and many of them have been with Churches since doing their apprenticeships with us.

The Mechanical Services Department monitors industry developments closely and provides expert advice on an array of solutions ranging from oil, natural gas or LPG fired warm air & radiant tube heaters, LTHW radiator & under-floor heating systems.

We also monitor new eco-friendly products coming to market – including both Biomass fuels and Geothermal systems – and integrate them into our business model and service offering once they are proven to work and provide a clear benefit to our clients (for more information go to Sustainable Energy).
